The numbers are standard BT "0845" local rate numbers, meaning that the caller pays the UK local call rate wherever they are in the UK, with discounts for off peak and weekend calls.

Calls to your BT 0845 VoIP number are routed through to your Call Union phone, for no additional charge.

If you are not available, the Call Union system will take a voice message and email it to you, for free.

Calls can also be forwarded to any other phone, at normal Call Union discount rates.

What's the catch?

There is no catch, calls to your UK VoIP number are charged at local rates, and that's it.  The service works best on broadband internet.
